"Its hard to find a place like this in the entire Daytona beach area as there is always something going on no matter where you are in the hotel. The rooms are cool, the pool area is cool, the beach area is cool its just a nice place to stay! Its a nice walk down the beach where the main shops and attractions are On A1A (Atlantic Ave) you can walk and find ANY souvenir you can imagine finding and there are your typical chain and original restaurants as well. Just down the street across the street from the Hilton, one street back, you can “club” until 3am and then you can come back to the Desert Inn and sleep it off and nurse your hangover at the pool for the rest of the day!!."

"It was a refreshing stay, the pool was very large, did not feel like I was in the way of other vacationers. The employees of this hotel were very friendly and went out of their way to accomidate me. I am a wheelchair user and the hoel was old but it was easiy to get around all the ammenities. I will return."

"i have read alot of bad reviews about this hotel.i found none of them to be true.i loved this hotel.my husband and i would love to visit it again and bring our son.it is a beautiful hotel.very nice people.the pool ,bar everything was wonderful.if anyone is thinking about staying at this hotel i recomend it.you will not get anything this good for the price.we will stay again.oh and the hotel room looked exactly like the picture.i want to thank desert resort for a great stay.it was perfect.you have a beautiful hotel."
